Academic Affairs

AACSB Accreditation

The endeavour to obtain accreditation with "The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business" is the major driving force behind the Bond University Business School. Gaining accreditation involves meeting strict standards of quality. These standards apply throughout the entire school, from student services and career advisors to the quality of the Lecturer's in the school.

Obtaining this accreditation will ensure that the Business School is internationally recognised. It will add value to your degrees and especially be of importance when it comes to applying for job's overseas.

Academic Issues?

If the issue concerns the content or lecturer of a particular class, please contact your Class Rep. If it is a broader issue (e.g. an academic appeal or deferral), please contact Madison Molloy (academicaffairs@bondbsa.com) for advice.

Class Rep's

The role of the Class Rep is to act as an intermediary between students and lecturer. It facilitates anonymous feedback to the lecturer. If there is an issue that the Class Rep cannot talk to the lecturer about, the position involves representing the Class Voice on these issues when liaising with either the BSA or Senior Staff in the Business School.

The BSA Class Rep system has seen an increased level attention this year and an increase in support from Faculty Staff and Head of School following on from the School's AACSB accreditation endeavours. The BSA's goals for the Class Rep system are

(1) to ensure that Class Rep's are properly being utilised and

(2) ensuring the position's are filled by willing and able students.

If you wish to contact your Class Rep, their emails should be posted on i-learn. Otherwise, email Madison Molloy (academicaffairs@bondbsa.com) and she will tell you who your class rep is.
