President Greg Russell
The President of the BSA is the leading position on the peak representative organisation for the Business, Property and IT students of Bond University. This role entails consolidating the ties between staff, students and alumni, as well as ensuring constant momentum towards achieving the long term goals set by the BSA. Greg has been involved in the BSA since 2008 and intends to take it to new levels in 2010. |

Vice-President Stephanie Waters
Stephanie is the Vice-president and is responsible for managing the internal affairs of the organisation and ensuring that the students in the faculty are well informed about career opportunities, social events and extra-curricular activities. In particular, Stephanie hopes to increase exposure for students with large corporations, through involvement in established competitions and networking events. In addition, Stephanie seeks to improve intra-university communication and representation, particularly for the large proportion of post-graduate and mature-age students that study in the faculty. |

Treasurer Andrew Lahey
As the Treasurer, Andrew controls all financial and budgetary requirements of the BSA. Andrew has been working very hard to ensure the budgets are fair and reflect the needs of the BSA, while maintaining a cost minimisation strategy where possible. One of Andrew's main goals for 2010, is to gain corporate sponsorship for the BSA’s various social and networking events. However, the main priority of the Treasurer is to ensure appropriate financial governance and recording keeping of the BSA is upheld at all times. |

Secretary Jessica Meyer
Jessica is responsible for the administrative functions of the BSA such as distribution of meeting agendas and minutes. She has a working knowledge of the BSA Constitution and works to achieve open and direct communication with the student body. Ensuring that the BSA’s work is executed smoothly and efficiently is one of his most important roles. Hid duties also include managing the office hours and weekly meetings of the BSA. |

Academic Affairs Director Meera Sivanathan
As Academic Affairs Director, Meera's main goal for 2010 is to improve how the BSA gives back to students. Meera has been actively involved since starting on the BSA, organising free revision classes for business students before final exams. The role of academic affairs director entails providing academic support and services to students in the business faculty. Meera will be running the BSA calculator hire service, where financial calculators are loaned to students for a small fee. This year, the BSA hopes to offer students who have bought financial calculators, the opportunity to sell them to the BSA if not further needed. Meera has also been looking into establishing an online “TVALs” system for immediate feedback on the quality of teaching at Bond. |

Communications Director Geordie Edwards
The communications director role is similar to that of a marketing manager or public relations director. Geordie’s job is to make sure the business students are fully aware with what is happening in the BSA and wider business community. He is in charge of any BSA Scope publications and in addition and maintains the BSA website. Geordie also liaises with the other directors, such as social, to promote and market events. One of Geordie's main goals as communication director is to make the BSA more approachable and create more awareness for its activities. |

External Affairs Director Emma Brinkman
As External Affairs Director, Emma's role entails establishing and consolidating new relationships with other Faculty Student Associations’, business alumni, and the corporate world. Through these relationships, the BSA can give back to the students in the form of an internship guide, mentoring programs, sponsorship, competitions, work placements and increased recognition of our degrees. Emma will act as the official representative of “Bond Business” students at conferences such as the Australasian Commerce & Economics Students’ Association, Finance Students’ Association and other conferences. |

Social Director Hugh Grover
As Social Director it is Hugh's responsibility to plan, organise and deliver the best social and professional events on behalf of the BSA. Hugh will be co-ordinating social events, such as Palaver and Club Empire. Hugh has also established the BSA Business & Breakfast, a fortnightly barbeque breakfast for all business students and staff. Hugh’s job also entails establishing connections with corporate contacts and potential sponsors. Hugh’s main goal for 2009 is to provide the Bond Business Community with classy events, which students, staff and business guests will all enjoy. |
