Competitions
The BSA aims to provide students with access to many social and academic competitions. Over the years the BSA has help to establish many events that encourages student participation. Academically the BSA has supported many prosperous teams including the 2008 Global Management Team and the 2001 World Moot Corp finalists.

ASX Share Market Game

The ASX share market game is a public competition that offers students the opportunity to trade shares on the live market through a game simulator. The BSA each year highly endorses students to participate in this competition and offers prizes to the most successful achievers.

JP Morgan Portfolio Competition

JM Morgan each year undertakes a portfolio competition called "Trading Places", this competition is similar to the ASX share market game however it is quite more advance. The competition is only available for Australian University Students and it offers great prizes for the most successful students. Previous years have seen Bond University students achieving great results in this event and we anticipate this to occur for future years.
Global Management Challenge


The Global Management Challenge is the Worlds largest and most prestigious business competition. This year saw over 19,000 entrants from 28 countries compete for the opportunity to represent their country in the 2008 International Final in Romania. The Bond University team who was represented by Chris Farrington, Amy Rowland, Daniel MacKenzie, Sam Cochrane and Christopher Taylor won the National Final in Sydney and were selected to represent Australia in the International final.
In Romania the team competed extremely well, however were eliminated in the Semi-Finals by China and Hong Kong, who eventually placed 2nd and 3rd respectively.
The Global Management Challenge is a competition that can offer great opportunities for students who are driven and committed o succeeding in Business and Life. Each year the BSA will call for applications to represent Bond University in this competition. Australian Marketing Institute Marketing Plan Competition

The BSA in conjunction with the Marketing Department ran a Marketing Competition this semester. The best teams will get a chance to represent Bond in the Australian Institute of Marketing QLD competition in August.
The competition involves submitting a 3,000 word marketing plan and giving a 10-15 minute presentation in groups of 3-5 people. You can also use any marketing plan that you have used before for an assignment. Entries closed on Friday 23rd May. Winners will be posted when announced.
Business Vs Law Rugby Union

The Business Vs Law Rugby Union series is an internal faculty competition between the university's two largest faculties. The best of three series is held in week 8 of each semester with the winning team receiving the annual trophy.
The first game this year has seen the business faculty take an early lead with a well deserved win against the Law Faculty.
