New Additions to the BSA

About a week ago the BSA suffered the loss of both its Communications and External directors. While it was imperative to fill these positions as quickly as possible, we wanted to be sure not to overlook any candidate, and so invitations went out to the entire campus for nominations for each position. It is a tribute to Bond that while the positions are unpaid and demanding, there were over 30 applications made, making the terrific statement that Bondies are not afraid of self-sacrifice for the good of the uni. More than 10 people made the short list, and from that it is my pleasure to announce that Daniel Mackenzie is to be the new External Director, and Melissa Bergin will be filling the role of Communications. Congratulations Dan and Mel. On another note, there has been a BSA initiative to create the Bond Investment Group. The group had such a response that it was felt an Investment Director was needed to head up this initiative. It is no secret that Brandon Sowers was successful in his application and is now at the helm of BIG, so congratulations must also go to Brando.
