New BIG Director Announced

Last Night's "BIG Evening" showcased everything the Bond Investment Group has done and has to offer. The night was the final event for the Bond Investment Group this semester and the new Director and Vice-President was announced. The night was a spectacular occassion with much to celebrate. Guest Speakers Peter Maher of Macquarie and Greg Matthews of IAM showed why they are leaders in their class.

However, one of the main reasons of the evening was to announce the new Bond Investment Group Director and Vice-President.

With the new appointment of director and vice-president, we must say farewell to Brandon Sowers, BIG Director 2007/08. Brandon leaves us having formed something special and taking it to new levels on many occasions. He has been the face of the Bond Investment Group since its formation and has setup a student organisation which can only go forward. His ability to perform under pressure in last-minute circumstances is unmatchable. Brandon's passive thinking and never-say-never attitude is the sole reason the Bond Investment Group exists in its present form.

This article is a tribute to Brandon Sowers for all he has done for the Bond Investment Group over the last two semesters. On behalf of the entire Bond Investment Group, I would like to thank you for leading BIG and making it such a success. Its almost certain we will never find someone who can do what you have done for us.
